In the first part of our mini-series, captured and edited by the talented Jamie Sadd, we’re celebrating the incredible people behind the transformation of Portobello Townhouse.

An architectural journey is always a collective effort. From the vision of our clients and the expertise of our design team, to the dedication of contractors, specialist suppliers, and artisans on site, it takes a huge effort to bring a project like this to life.

Part 2

Construction

“The making of a modern family home…”

In the second part of our mini-series, captured and edited by the talented Jamie Sadd, we’re showcasing the significant remodelling that took place at Portobello Townhouse.

The once-dilapidated West London townhouse was a series of dark, fragmented spaces - the project saw these reimagined into a family home full of volume, warmth and connection.

Part 3

Finishing

“Measure twice, cut once…”

 

In the third part of our mini-series, captured and edited by the talented Jamie Sadd, we’re showcasing the detailed finishing that was undertaken at Portobello Townhouse.

 

Lime wash paint, fitted joinery, a hand-made kitchen, bespoke spindles and continuous handrails, curved beading and architraves, setting out large pendants - it all takes time and meticulous care to achieve.

Part 4

Garden

“The Secret Garden…”

In the fourth and final part of our mini-series, captured and edited by the talented Jamie Sadd, we’re highlighting the dramatic reshaping of the courtyard garden.

Previously split-level, hideously overgrown and with no connection to any of the internal spaces, the garden now forms a light and lush backdrop to the kitchen, dining and double height circulation space.
