'Bronzed Copper Extension'
Peploe Road, London, NW6
Project
A 'bronzed copper' roofed side return to a terraced house in North West London.
The triangulated and dynamic extension form was borne out of the need to create a link between the rear living room whilst resulting in a single pitch line at the garden end to satisfy the Conservation Area Design Guide.
The open end has anodized aluminium doors which slide across the fixed pane with a floating dining bench allowing a close connection to the garden whilst remaining in the warmth of inside.
The interior has a microscreed floor, a Rational kitchen, Corian Artic Ice work tops and an oak clad utility and wc compartment with frameless doors.
